Whatever ‘family’ looks like to you, it’s all about being together and connected. Time is precious, it is fleeting; our memories fade and it is so rare to be all together in one photograph.
It would be my joy to capture your family, your hearts, in this moment in time, and turn something so fleeting into a tangible keepsake – memories that will last, that you can share, that you can hold.
Forever remember how little they were, how your baby bump curved as it held them inside, how that missing tooth made that cute gappy-smile, or how their hair curled in wild ways. You might love the ocean, or the calm of the countryside, perhaps your favourite place to be is in the kitchen with the kids, or snuggled up in bed on a Sunday morning. Whatever makes your hearts sing, that’s where we’ll make magic.
As the years turn into decades, I want you to have whole memories for you and your loved ones to look back on – all of you together, in that fleeting moment, beautiful and real.
APPROACH
Sessions are fluid and utilise a combination of traditional portraiture and candid documentary with a focus on connection at all times, no matter how many of ‘you’ there are. Whether we’re out on location or in the comfort of your home we utilise the unique relationships you each have to focus on each other so that your session feels less like a photoshoot and more like quality time filled with laughter and intimacy. The end result is a collection of photographs that will hang beautifully on your walls or in an album like pieces of art that compliment your home and life and evoke a warmth of the soul.
RUN TIME
Sessions generally run for up to 1 hour, with the exception of newborn sessions which can run for up to 2 hours as we use a baby-led approach and allow for feeds and nappy changes as necessary.
LOCATION
Sessions generally take place in the Gold Coast / Tweed / Hinterland / Brisbane region. Travel outside of these regions is absolutely available and may incur a small travel fee. Sessions can take place in your home or out in nature – I am happy to suggest locations for you based on your needs!
