Photograph of a young family in front of a Jacaranda tree at Biami Yumba Park, Brisbane

It’s Jacaranda season! Nine years ago, I photographed Lauren & Adam’s wedding day in Jacaranda season, and it was so special to regroup almost a decade later under these familiar purple trees, with their three gorgeous daughters in tow! Biami Yumba park is a real gem of a place in Fig Tree Pocket, Brisbane; Jacaranda trees line it’s perimeter and there’s plenty of wide open space for the young-at-heart to run wild, and run wild they did! This girl-gang had souls full of spark and they brought a beautiful chaos to the session – which I love! Embrace it for what it is and remember these years full of giddy, young hearts.
