Roxanne & Ian – Karalee Wedding

Roxanne & Ian said “I Do” in the backyard of their Karalee home, beside the pool and under the thatch-roofed pergola in the company of their closest friends and family. The atmosphere was wonderful and the company was even better.

Roxanne & Ian’s story is a heart-warming tale. The pair originally dated in high school, but life took them on very different paths, each having families, highs and lows of their own, and then life reunited them again.

Which brings us to this happy day.
A beautifully simple ceremony in the soft & golden 4pm winter light,
preceded by a formal shoot in the Kholo Botanical Gardens, complete with a green MG (Ian’s favourite toy).

There was much to be gained from this order of events; vibrant afternoon light for the formal photos, dreamily soft sun for the ceremony, and as much time as you need for family photos and guest-greeting after the ceremony – it was a real treat, and a nice change-up.

Thank you to Roxanne & Ian for a lovely day, and for being truly wonderful company.
Many blessings to you both.
